The BBCU Golf Day at the Royal Kyiv Golf Club was a great opportunity for first-time players to try the game of golf.
Everyone enjoyed the BBCU ‘pay as you play’ scheme. Which included an introduction to golf etiquette and the opportunity to practice on the DrivingRange, Putting Green and Chipping Green.
In the morning our serious golf players were competing for the BBCU Golf Day Trophy. The wonderful landscape, light wind and sun helped the competitors to enjoy the day and make some great shots. These people already know the taste of this fabulous game.
In the afternoon players also competed for the BBCU Texas Scramble Trophy, where a good player teams up with an ‘average’ player and also a beginner, which provides an opportunity for the latter two to play on the golf course.
For beginners we also organised the BBCU Academy Tournament, where first timers played on a specially designed six hole course.
